DAY 1: KAMPALA TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK- UGANDA
From the capital of Uganda, we travel through the papyrus swamps and the dense jungles of the Nile delta areas making the journey colorful. Arriving at Kibale, located at the foothills of the Rwenzori mountains we head off to a guided afternoon walk as we explore the crater lakes of the national park and many other exciting views that create lifetime memories. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your preferred lodge or hotel.
DAY 2: KIBALE CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
The day starts with an early morning breakfast before meeting the guide fpr a briefing on chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest. We then head off on foot to track the chimpanzee of Kibale national park, a home to an impressive 500 chimpanzees. The dense jungles of the park are considered the best place to view chimpanzees in Africa. The guided walk offers a great opportunity to learn more about these primates along with various creatures of the jungle. The forest houses 23 primate species including the bush babies, mangabeys, blue monkeys, white and black colobus, Uganda rare colobus among others.
After the treck, we head to the medley of wonders which is the most visited park in Uganda. The park has beautiful landscapes that remains relatively green throughout the year. We shall move to the south of the park while taking in sights and looking out for a game as we drive. in the evening, we shall embark on a two-hour boat trip on the Kazinga channel, getting up close to the hippos, buffaloes and other wild animals. The boat trip offers excellent bird watching opportunities as well as the chance to see elephants, warthogs and kobs. The banks of the channel are home to a rich variety of birds such as pink-backed, pelicans, pied among others.

DAY 3: QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK TO BWINDI FOREST
After the morning breakfast, you will set off for an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth park, exploring the area log Kasenyi and the Queen mile.
Wildlife sightings include elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs and various birds. The next journey will take you to the impressive craters of the western rift valley escarpments and the Ishasha section of the park where you will get a chance to see the tree-climbing lions. following the rewarding game drive, you will be taken to Bwindi impenetrable national park which is a home to the endangered African mountain gorillas with a rich diversity of wild animals and plants. Inhabitants include various primate species such as the blue and red tailored monkeys. Have dinner and overnight sleep.
DAY 4: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI
Today you will set off on the once in a lifetime experience of trekking mountain gorillas in the wild. The day starts with an early morning breakfast, before meeting up with our guides for a briefing on the activity. You the lead off into the dense vegetation of Bwindi impenetrable forest best known for endangered gorilla trekking, considered the highlight of visiting Uganda. The memorable activity can take up to six hours, so a reasonable degree of fitness is required. The thrill of encountering these gentle primates in the wild is well worth and sometimes challenging trek through the thick undergrowth. The adventure takes you in search of a group of gorillas, once you find African mountain gorillas, you spend some time watching them feed and interact with each other. Encountering with these giant apes is one of the most poignant wildlife experiences. In the afternoon, you will explore a local community on foot, to gain insight into the ways of the Ugandan people living near Bwindi park and support the local initiative. After the walk, have a drink as you are recounting the unforgettable adventures with the African Mountain Gorillas.

DAY 5: TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA OR ENTEBBE
Enjoy an early breakfast on day five and then return to Kampala, visiting Igongo cultural village en-route. Here, you shall learn about the Bahima and Ankole cultures of Uganda, glimpsing the history of these interesting people. Along the way, you will cross the Equator and stop to take memorable photos plus having lunch. You will arrive back to your preferred destination bringing an end to this Uganda safari tour.
